Sharpen, Bubba. SHARPEN. :)
So, FAST FIVE. Lots of (surreptitious ;) action. Minimal racing. Too many lame one liners from "The Rock".
As a whole, I really enjoyed the movie. In my opinion, though, it can't even touch its predecessors.
Again, I am typing from my phone, so I am keeping it short. Hope you all had a wonderful day and I wish you a great weekend.

Praying for Ringgold, GA.
I am typing this from my phone because the internet still doesn't work. We've got power at our house and everything is fine, just no internet. It could be much worse.
I will update you all with my version of the Ringgold and surrounding area tornadoes that happened last night as soon as I can.
Please, just be in a continuous prayer for all those affected by what has happened. People have lost loved ones, their property, and hope. I pray that the church pews, chairs, and alters overflow with lost souls who are resorting to an option they have not tried before. Something good really can come from something so devastating.

'Nados.
The weather is so horrible right now! (Although, it keeps changing its mind.) One minute nothing, the next, I am being summoned into the breakroom at work because that is the safest place to be in the event of a tornado. It's really crazy.
The wind was blowing so hard that our doors were flying open and we could hear a constant high pitch whistling through the doors and walls. That went on for a few minutes and then all of a sudden, Mother Nature decided to throw heavy rain into the mix. The trees were bending abnormally, stuff was flying through the parking lot, and I was fearful something bad would happen.
Luckily, as I am typing this sentence, the harsh weather has stopped and it is barely sprinkling. Tornados have touched down here and all around... if you can, take a moment and pray for everyone affected... we have a few people who work here who have had trees fall on their family's house. So awful.
---
Well, that is a couple of hours old. There are still dark clouds roaming the skies, but it has still been pretty calm for the most part.
The Deathly Hallows have been keeping me company as I have been as work alone. It's so different from the movie... a good different. I'm excited to read what happens after what the movie has already shown! And I am even more excited for the newest (and last :/ ) movie coming out in a few months! (I get to see it with all of my siblings!) :D
Hope everyone is doing well.

Remedy.
The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy
is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet,
alone with the heavens, nature, and God.
Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be
and that God wishes to see people happy,
amidst the simple beauty of nature.

F I F T Y F I V E
Fifty-five facts about your faithful female friend who fancies films featuring far-out, ficticious fairy tales.
- I prefer a fruity dessert to a chocolate one.
- I tend to have those mildly psychic experiences most people have: knowing when the phone is about to ring and who’s on the other end, thinking about something completely random and it happening a couple of days later, etc.
- I frequently have lucid dreams, which I love for the most part.
- Not to say that I agree with them, but I find conspiracy theories fascinating.
- I like wearing shorts to bed. Never pants (unless the heat isn't working).
- Bad spelling and grammar annoy the heck out of me. (A mistake is one thing; a constant misuse is another.)
- I am opinionated but most of the time, I don't share my opinion with others.
- I secretly love hugs, but only if you are one of a select few.
- I love the smell of coffee.
- I am more OCD at work than anywhere else. (And I didn't know this, but my coworkers noticed! I am slightly embarrassed and hesitant when I routinely fix what is not in place now; but I still can't stop.)
- I don't like the fact that Will Ferrel is replacing Steve Carrell on The Office.
- I like walking... but only really as an individual activity. My iPod is my company.
- I wasn't sure how long I would last at this blogging thing; definitely didn't think it would be this long.
- I've been trying to condition myself to not let things bother me. (i.e. I am currently using pink post its at work, so the color is always in my peripheral vision. I try not to let the stapler out of place bother me, but that one is going to take prayer and a miracle. etc.)
- I want to own and learn to use a sewing machine.
- The only part of laundry I like is cleaning the lint trap.
- I like symmetrical designs; they're less stressful.
- It is much easier for me to express my emotions through the written word rather than outwardly.
- If my siblings and I weren't related, I think we would still be friends.
- I love accents from all over Europe! (I wish I had one...)
- Moe Monday and Dollar Wednesday are my favorite days.
- For the longest time, Mom would refer to my aunt as "my seester". B, Ash, and I would make fun of her by calling each other "seester"... it has stuck and is a regular nickname we call one another. (The joke's on us!)
- "Antique Yellow" is quickly becoming one of my favorite colors.
- If/when I have a wedding, I want the main color to be eggplant. (dark purple)
- I'm the RiverKidz craft girl!
- My best friend is getting married on May 12, 2012. I am so excited!
- Apparently, I say "Daytona" and "phone" weird.
- I am hot natured... and wish I was the opposite.
- If I am at home alone and I consiously think about how I haven't talked at all that day, I get the urge to say something (anything)... but I don't... I get too embarrassed.
- I don't really like being in a lake or ocean... it scares me.
- I love to watch movie previews.
- I really enjoyed riding the subway in NYC... the whole system was a new adventure. I hope to go back again one day.
- I am scared to let just anyone cut my hair. That is why it is ridiculously long right now.
- I love special features on DvDs.
- I like GoodWill shopping.
- Under my non-girlie, shy, quiet exterior, I am a hopeless romantic.
- I like to watch sappy romance/girly movies when I am stressed or overtired... I find their predictability soothing.
- I am a fashion tragic.
- I feel most creative at night.
- I am a closet pyromaniac (not in a she's-crazy-and-dangerous kind of way); I like to watch things burn.
- I check all of my social media outlets far too many times while I am at work; I am just looking for a little excitement.
- I am very nostalgic and love to watch the tv shows and movies of my youth.
- I am convinced there is a perfect movie quote for any situation.
- I want to have at least two of my own kids; I'm thinking I would like to adopt as well.
- Stop motion videos/films are so amazing to me. I would like to make a stop motion video for my YouTube channel one day.
- "Once you go Mac, you don't go back." So true.
- Any link that I open, I open in a new tab. It's hard to stop. I've tried.
- I love the way library books smell.
- I don't seek revenge.
- Even if you are a complete jerk to me, I could never be mean directly to you. I'm non-confrontational.
- When I am forced to listen to a conversation that I neither like nor am a part of, I repeat the letters O-M-G in sign language where the others can not see.
- I want to write and finish a book that is at least worth publishing.
- I have moles on my neck that I desperately want gone.
- I spend too much time daydreaming and acting out scenarios in my head that I wish would happen.
- For a moment, I would like to have a foreign ear to hear what Americans sound like. Including myself.

Happy Easter!
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
Matthew 28:1-6
I hope you all have had a wonderful Easter. Jesus is alive! There is no event in history to even compare to my Savior's resurrection. He gave His life to save mine. That kind of love is indescribable. I pray that you all know the Truth of the Lord and that He lives in your heart... there is no greater feeling!
If, however, you are more of the commercial Easter holiday type, here is a cute bunny to look at:
Awe, I want to take him home with me! :)
Speaking of animals (nice segue, don't you think? ;), I was on the way home from a park I was at (I took the back road) and it was getting dark. A car that passed me honked three times for some reason. I was going about 10mph over the speed limit and I took the honks as some kind of warning, but not sure for what. So, I slowed down, thinking there may have been a cop. About thirty seconds later, I slammed on my brakes, almost hitting four deer that were crossing the street. My heart stopped. I am so thankful the Lord gave me a warning sign and kept me safe. Good thing I wasn't changing the song on my iPod.
I started "Cassie's Craft Corner" today at church! It went really well! The kids were excited about it, and excited that I would be the regular craft girl. Miss Cassie is what they called me... a little weird, but cute.
From a paper plate, they each made a tomb. They pasted an angel to the inside of the opening because, as you know, an angel came down and rolled the stone away (our stone was made of a brown paper bag balled up) and told of Jesus' resurrection. They turned out so good! I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of it... I will try to remember next week!
(Can't remember the counts right now... I'll resume later.) The end.

Super Sleepers.
I know I've been sacrificing quality for quantity by blogging every single day this month, but I hope I haven't completely run everyone off by doing so. I have done so many posts with just pictures in them... which is probably a lot better than having everyday be a "this is what I did today" type post, so I hope you can forgive me for not writing each day. But, I've really enjoyed it so far and will definitely be doing it again in August (BEDA= Blog Every Day in months beginning with A). Ha. There is just about a week left, hope you can hang in there with me! :)
---
I was in the process of writing this blog and thinking up something interesting to write about... then I fell asleep for three hours. Cody, dad, and I have these super powers that allow us to be able to fall asleep anywhere, anytime. Super Sleepers?
I'll just leave today's post as it is.

Zombie Apocalypse.
It's "My Zombie Apocalypse Soundtrack!" According to the rules, I have to put my iPod on shuffle to determine my fate. Here we go...
1. The overall theme for the apocalypse:
"Singing in the Rain" the Glee version. Hm, must be stormy during the apocalypse.. and joyful?
2. The song that plays when I kill my first zombie:
"If You're Into It" by Flight of the Conchords. Not sure I'd care for a naked zombie.
3. The song that plays while I'm being chased by a horde:
"Disturbia" covered by The Cab. A mood setter, I like it.
4. When I kill my loved one:
"Thinking of You" by Katy Perry. Well, that's an obvious one.
5. When I find a group of survivors:
"Stab My Back" by The All-American Rejects. Ah yes, because having just escaped zombies, I'd loved to be stabbed.
6. When I meet my new love interest:
"Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem ft. Rihanna. Hm, first I am attacked by zombies and then I fall in love with an abusive man. Awesome life.
7. When I make my final stand:
"One of Those Nights" by The Cab. "Word is I got away and now I must be caught." Dang.
8. When I think I've survived it all:
"This is Your Life" by Switchfoot. Yes, yes it is.
9. When I discover a bite mark on me:
"Bruised and Scarred" by Mayday Parade. Haha! Perfect.
10. The song during the end credits:
"Hear Me Now" by Framing Hanley. This should have been the theme.

Inspirational Text #3:
Judges 3:20-21. Ehud then approached him "I have a message from God for you." As the king rose from his seat, Ehud reached with his left hand, drew the sword from his right thigh and plunged it into the king's belly.
Men, as sons of Shamgar and warriors of God, it is in our blood to spill theirs, so tonight we cut off the head of the snake and silence all that will challenge us.

Firsts thoughts of NaNo.
I don't know exactly where ideas come from.
It's just a matter of us figuring out
how to receive the ideas waiting to be heard.
-Jim Henson
I was stumbling at work today and came across the picture below, which was kind of perfect because that is the mirror image of what I looked like. It made me chuckle.
I have an interesting idea for this year's NaNoWriMo novel! I wasn't planning on thinking about it this early, but it came to me as I was driving home from work today. I don't exactly have the story yet, but I know what I want to do. This makes me very excited! :)
Oh yeah, I forgot to post this text the other day... Cody sent it to me on the 14th...
Inspirational Text #2:
He was standing among an army of six hundred. He as well as the others laughed with arrogance when they saw their enemy, a single man armed with nothing but a short stick, he did not know this would be the last enemy he would ever face.. Tonight men they are just one of hundreds so one by one they must fall and let the tip of the oxgoad be the last thing they ever see.

I have the spine of an 80 year old.
I finally went to the chiropractor today. My appointment had me rolling out of bed at the crack of dawn but rest assured, I went back to bed when I got home at 9 something.
They first examined the range of motion in my back and neck. My back ROM was just fine... not great, but relatively normal. My neck ROM, however, was at a vastly lower percentage than where I should be at my age. The doctor then had X-rays taken of my back and neck. My backbone starts to curve to the right at about the third vertebrae from the bottom. My neck (that is supposed to have a natural curve from the side view) is completely straight, holding my head slightly out instead of directly over my body. The doctor says this makes my head feel like it ways 50 pounds as opposed to 12 pounds.
Ouch!*
Well, I'm out of interesting life related things at the moment, so enjoy this list of movies that I love (one for each letter of the alphabet):
A- Avatar
B- Boondock Saints
C- Coyote Ugly
D- Dirty Dancing
E- Ever After
F- 2Fast 2Furious**
G- Girls Just Want to Have Fun
H- Harry Potter (don't make me choose just one!)
I- Inglorious Basterds
J- Juno
K- A Knight's Tale
L- League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
M- Mean Girls
N- Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
O- One Fine Day
P- Pride & Prejudice
Q- Quantum of Solace***
R- Runaway Bride
S- Star Trek

Glorious day.
It has been such a great weekend for me. At work, we have a rotating schedule so that I get every third weekend off. The past few weekends that I have had off have been spent out of town. This weekend, however, I stayed home. It was the better choice.
I did a little shopping, hung out with friends, got a new project to do, and MY BEST FRIEND GOT ENGAGED! ... in New York City! I am so excited for her and J! :)
This has been quite the year so far for engagements and weddings, and it is only April. I'm sure I will see it happen more and more as the year progresses.
Today after I walked, I layed under a tree at a park and read for about two hours. It was such a glorious day. And I still have one day left on my weekend off... so glad to say that I do not have to work on the dreaded Monday.
In other news, May 1st will start Cassie's Craft Corner at church for the kids. I am so excited to start helping with the kids ministry by using my passion (I was going to say "talents" but I am not so sure it is talent. ha). I think it will be so much fun! It will also give me some fun material for my Smartt Designs blog. Can't wait to start!
News wise, I am afraid that is all I have. My eyes seem to be getting so heavy. It is bed time for me I suppose.
Until tomorrow, my lovlies.
